According to TA reporter Sam Amick, league sources revealed that the Kings had considered introducing Ju Holiday (before he was traded from the Celtics to the Trail Blazers), but eventually gave up because of his age (35 years old) and high contract amount (a total of $104.4 million, including player options for the 2027-28 season).
In previous transactions, the Trail Blazers exchanged Anthony Simmons and two second round picks for Ju Holiday from the Celtics.
