Former Bucks player and No. 14 pick in the 12th first round, John Henson revealed that Antetokounmpo rejected a potential big deal.
"There was a transaction at that time... Middleton for Butler's trading plan, and Giannis said 'We won't do it'. That was the only time I saw him stand up and speak with my own eyes." John Henson said.
According to Henson, that should have been in the offseason of 2019, and the Sixers finally sent Butler to the Heat. And on this year's trading deadline, the Bucks sent Middleton to the Wizards.
