The original contract between Vieira and Genoa, 48, expires on June 30, 2026. He has coached Genoa since November 2024, and has led the team with a record of 8 wins, 9 draws and 9 losses so far.
24-25 season, Genoa ranked 13th in the Serie A standings.
Previously, Vieira was associated with Inter Milan and Atlanta's coaching positions.
