"Roman Sports" reported that several former executives, including former Juventus chairman Agnelli, have applied to sign a plea agreement. The investigation involved a number of charges, including manipulation of stock prices, obstruction of supervision and false invoices. These actions are allegedly related to illegal operations in player salary management in previous years.

In the plea negotiation request, former chairman Agnelli, former vice chairman Nedved, former sports director Paratic and Maurizio Arivabene were all listed. However, for Arivabene, the prosecutor made a recommendation that no prosecution was made different from other former executives accused. The prosecutor's allegations mainly include fictitious capital gains and illegal operations, which occurred in previous years when the club was under tremendous economic pressure. The judge will make a decision on September 22 on whether to accept a request to sign a plea agreement. At that time, it will be clarified whether the case will enter the ordinary trial process.
