Italian statistics company Ipsos/Stage Up counted the number of local active fans of each team in Serie A last season, with Juventus ranked first with 7.9 million active fans. The so-called "active" fans in
statistics refer to fans who will watch the live broadcast of their own supporting team games, and if possible, they will watch the game at the stadium, or even cheer with the team away. In the 2024-25 season, Juventus' active fans in Italy were 7.9 million, a decrease of 1% from the 2023-24 season. Next are Inter Milan (4.2 million) and Milan (3.8 million). Last season, the number of active fans of Serie A champion Napoli increased by 5%, while the largest increase was Lecce (10%).
