According to multiple media reports, Atlanta rejected Inter Milan's offer to buy Lukeman for 45 million euros. Today, Lukeman posted on social media that Atlanta violated its promise and has now officially submitted a transfer application.

Lukeman wrote in the statement:

I and the club have reached an agreement and now is the right time, and the club has made it clear that they will allow me to leave if they receive a fair offer.

Although I have received a offer that I think matches the conditions discussed before, the club has hindered the transfer for reasons I can't understand.

So after months of failing promises and the unfair treatment I experienced – whether as a person or a player, I had to stand up and speak out for what I thought was right, I think it was time to end. I can confirm that I have submitted a formal transfer application.

Lukeman's statement full text:

In Atlanta for the past three years, I have given my best efforts. Not only as a football player, but also as a person. I always wear this jersey with pride and strive to represent the club and the city of Bergamo with enthusiasm and dedication.

I came here with hopes to help this special club grow, and the memories we created together will be engraved in my heart forever. Winning the UEFA Cup and standing side by side with my teammates in Dublin that night in Dublin to celebrate with the fans was one of the most proud moments of my career to this day. Whenever I think of that moment, I still get goosebumps.

Atlanta, especially its fans, has become a part of my life. From the moment I arrived, it made me feel like home, and I have been working hard to repay this love—even when things weren’t easy behind the scenes.

This is why it is so difficult to write down these. I love every moment, but now, after three wonderful seasons in Bergamo, I think it's time to take a new adventure. There have been many clubs in the past that I have been loyal before.

My and I have reached an agreement and now is the right time, and the club has made it clear that they will allow me to leave if they receive a fair offer.

Although I have received a offer that I think matches the conditions discussed before, the club has hindered the transfer for reasons I can't understand.

Even after extremely difficult times, many of which remained private and confidential, I always tried to put the clubs, fans and teams first and hope that things won’t go to this point, but unfortunately, I don’t think there is any other choice now.

To the soul of the club - fans, I want to say: I sincerely apologize for the development of things to this point. |I hope you can understand this extremely difficult situation. It's just about defending what I think is fairness and justice. The support you have always given me is amazing, and the bond we have built together is unique.

hopes to work with the club to find a friendly solution for all parties as soon as possible.

With love and gratitude!
