During the international match day, Anthony accepted an interview with "AS", in which Anthony talked about his views on several superstars in football and the Brazilian national team.

Which players have had an important impact on your career?

Anthony: Ronaldinho and Neymar are my benchmarks... I have also played alongside Ronaldo, and I also like Messi very much.

The similarities between you and Ronaldo...

Anthony: I'm not sure...There are things in him that I want to learn from. I played with him and learned a lot. Like Messi, he is one of the best players and has won many Ballon d'Or awards. And Neymar is the most talented player I have ever seen.

Have you considered the Brazilian national team?

Anthony: It has always been my dream to put on the national team jersey, which is very important. I played in the World Cup once and I dreamed of playing again. I have been training hard and will continue in the future because it has always been my dream to return to the national team.

Will you communicate with Ancelotti?

Anthony: Ancelotti will communicate with everyone. He is a very good coach and a great person. I'm sure things will go smoothly.

Vinicius, Martinelli, Rodrigo...the competition is fierce.

Anthony: The (Brazil) forward line is indeed full of talents, but it was the same when I participated in the World Cup. Things haven't changed much, we all have to keep the level high, there are top players here.

But the national team has not been able to exert its full strength in recent years.

Anthony: I think it will be different now. In the three or four months since Ancelotti took charge, everyone has been adapting to his tactical style, but Brazil has always been a great team.

How do you view the racial discrimination against Vinicius?

Anthony: I am 100% opposed to racial discrimination. I hate this type of behavior and my family has been through similar experiences.

Does this phenomenon exist in Spain?

Anthony: I think this phenomenon is everywhere. Vinicius suffered it here, and everyone witnessed it.
