According to the official website of UEFA, UEFA Children's Fund announced that it would cooperate with three charities to provide assistance to children in the Gaza region. These institutions include Doctors Without Borders, International Medical Corps and International Organization for Disabled Assistance, aiming to alleviate the suffering of children in the region due to war.

The operation was carried out after child assistance in Ukraine, Sudan, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and Afghanistan. Previously, the foundation announced in March 2022 that it had cooperated with charities and national associations in Ukraine and its surrounding areas to fund projects focusing on children's rights and well-being. In addition, the Foundation has also supported several projects to help children affected by the war in conflict areas such as Afghanistan, Lebanon, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

The latest collaboration of three charities is providing critical humanitarian assistance to children in the Gaza region. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres describes the current situation in the Gaza region as a "humanitarian disaster of unprecedented scale."

International Medical Corps: Working in the region since 1995, committed to improving health care for civilians. They provide humanitarian assistance in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, especially in emergency situations to prepare medical facilities and improve their coordination capabilities. In the West Bank, the International Medical Mission also provides psychosocial support to victims of violence through mobile clinics and distributes children’s food packages.

Doctors Without Borders/Doctors Without Borders: The organization’s team is committed to treating injured people and providing support to overwhelmed hospitals. They provide a variety of services including surgical procedures, trauma treatment, physical therapy, primary care, trauma care, maternal and child care. They have 10 health centres in Gaza and ensure the distribution of water and food.

International Disabled Organization: The organization has a total of 133 domestic staff and more than 500 community workers in the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem, Ramallah and Egypt. Their specific work includes:

-distribution of first aid kits;

-providing emergency assistance and rehabilitation services;

-providing nursing and medical equipment for severely injured and disabled persons;

-providing psychosocial support;

-educating knowledge about the risk of explosive residues.

UFCU President and UEFA President Alexander Cheferin said in announcing this initiative and partnership: "No matter what the adults who started the war think they are doing, children are innocent. But in all conflicts, they die every day, and we must do our best to help those who try to make their lives more tolerant and normal. Through the European Football Association, we strive to support those who reduce the burden on children and help them find moments of peace and hope in the most difficult situations. As adults, parents, neighbors and humans, it is our responsibility to stand by their children when they need us. Sometimes, even small actions can remind them that they are not alone, not forgotten, that they are valued. We cannot change the world alone, but if we provide safety, love and hope for children, they can and will change the world."
