Pierce: If you spell the letters this way, you’re afraid of getting injured in the playoffs. Jokic’s statistics are similar but much easier.

Recently, former Celtics star Pierce talked about Alphabet and Jokic on Danny Green's podcast.

"What I'm worried about is the injuries he's had in the playoffs over the past few years. I don't want him to work like that all regular season just to get into the playoffs. When you get older and you're good all the time, you need someone to take the pressure off you. If you have to score 35 points, grab 13 rebounds, and dish out 6 assists every night, that's really hard. 82 games. The game is like this every night, not to mention the mental and physical grind of the playoffs. It's really difficult. Antetokounmpo's statistics are like Jokic, but his style of play is more demanding on the body. On the offensive end, he has to shoot jumpers like Duncan, and Jokic is more of a playmaker.

Since the start of the season, Antetokounmpo has averaged 32.3 points, 12.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 1 block per game; Jokic has averaged 24.1 points, 13.4 rebounds, 12 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.9 blocks per game.
