Malley, a doctor who performed surgery on Tatum's Achilles tendon, recently accepted an interview with People magazine, during which he talked about Tatum's recovery.
"I've never seen anyone have a calves as strong as he did. He can do double Achilles tendon lift training in six to eight weeks. He works very hard and I don't think he has any muscle strength drops," Malley said.
Another MD, Jesse Morse, retweeted the report on Twitter and said: "I personally think November and December are more realistic comeback dates, but maybe they will wait until January next year."
Tatum suffered a torn Achilles tendon during the playoffs this year (May 13), and then underwent surgery and announced a season reimbursement.
Jesse Morse is a PhD in Sports Medicine. His main event is the NFL. He often posts some analysis and opinions on player injuries on his Twitter.
