Former NBA player Matt Barnes recently talked about the topic of player income on the podcast show Big Boy 's The Hangout.
"Now when I see the income of NBA players, sometimes I think, 'Oh my God, it would be great if I could play now.' We may see that NBA players' basic annual salary will be close to $100 million in two or three years. However, I don't regret it. I just occasionally wonder if I missed some opportunities. But I have four sons, and I hope some of them can seize these opportunities. One or two sons have the hope of entering the NBA, I hope so," Barnes said.
Barnes played for the Clippers, 76ers, Kings, Knicks, Warriors, Suns, Magic, Lakers and Grizzlies in his career. In December 2017, he announced his retirement.
